For the longest time i had the Delta Gundam completed, along with the sheild. All i needed to do was finish the beam rifle and i recently did that.... finally. Anyway i put this together with things that i've learned recently. I like the way it turned out personally. Just need to get it into a cool scene now...
Okay!! Here's the Delta Gundam!..... almost. I still have to do the sheild and rifle but this is pretty much there. Oh yeah and the coloring which i think i'm going to mess around with because of the reflective coating armor that it has, just like the Hyaku Shiki. We'll see what happens with that. Anyway i better get to that but here's what i have now.
I thought i'd have a little fun and add in a rendered image of my work on the Delta Gundam right in the middle of it all. Pretty much i've been remodifying the Delta Plus to create the Delta Gundam. There are a few parts here that i'll most likely be deleting. I just have them all spread out for reference to keep things proportioned. I'll reuse the hands and i'm not sure if i'll reshape the binders or create new ones. We'll see what happens.
The parts that are newly added all don't have any material added to them making them a straight white. I kinda like seeing it that way because it makes it look like i'm building a scratch model. That is actually one of the main reasons why i decided to create these 3d models. I liked building gundam models and i have a few different ones. The thing is i don't have a ton of money to spend on the models and there are some certain ones that i'd like to build that are non-existent (like the GM Sniper II!! *shakes fist*) Although there is a resin addon kit for the GM Command to make the GM Sniper II. Thats hard to find and costs money. Heheh! Anyway with building these 3d models they don't cost money, i can build as many as i have time for, i can customize them without worrying about losing the original one, and to me, building these is just as fun as building gunpla.
Anyway i'm glad to be back and getting the blog going again after my wife had been in the hospital. There's more to come...
OK!!! So i've got the Delta Gundam on the way. For some reason I like this one quite a bit. I have much more to say about it but for right now i'm just tired and its late and i'm ready for bed. Its been a crazy weekend.
